| "In Search of a Deeper Communion: Body, Mind, Self and the Universal Energy |

It looks like Tirtha Pratim Das’s presentation at the GEP Public Talk, a dazzling jaunt through childhood anecdotes, the history of Physical Science, Quantum Mechanics, and Vedantic philosophy, arriving at his own five-step model explaining the undercurrent of unity in the universe. As a keen learner of the Indian philosophical texts, Mr. Das shared his interest in oriental philosophy and keenness to introspect at the deepest level of Universal consciousness to probe the undercurrent of unity of the entire macrocosm, and decipher the mysteries of body, mind, self and the connection with the Super-impersonal Consciousness. TP Das is professionally a planetary scientist at the Space Physics Laboratory, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) working towards the planetary exploration programme of India. He was the member of the CHACE-1 payload team in the Chandrayaan-1 mission that led to several discovery class of findings including the discovery of water vapour and carbon dioxide in the day side atmosphere of the moon. |

What does it look like when a brilliant scientist starts to ask questions about the fundamental truth behind the universe?
