The first session of the National Energy Parliament was successfully held on December 30, 2011 at the Priyadarsini Planetarium, Trivandrum.
Central Ministers Prof. K.V. Thomas and K.C. Venugopal, the Maharaja of Travancore, graced the occasion, as eminent scientists, scholars and environmentalists piloted resolutions about sustainability for India for the next 50-200 years, in the presence of H.H. Jagad Guru Swami Isa.
