External Affairs Minister for India inaugurates 11th GEP

Shri. V. Muraleedharan, Hon'ble Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of India, inaugurated the 11th session of the Global Energy Parliament on December 10, 2021 online.

In his Inaugural Address, Shri. Muraleedharan said “The Global Energy Parliament has gathered great global thinkers and practitioners in education from around 40 countries to create a new global education policy... GEP is taking such a vital topic, which is most relevant to the world.”

Prof. K.V. Thomas, a former minister of India and former chemistry professor, gave the Keynote Address at the Function.

Dr. CV Ananda Bose, Speaker of the GEP, read out a message from Shri. Narendra Modi, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, in which he expressed appreciation for GEP’s endeavours to create a global education policy as an “assimilation of best global practices in the education sector for the betterment of humanity”.
