In the aftermath of the floods which ravaged Kerala, the State is looking at an enormous task of rebuilding and reconstructing. In the haste to rebuild, citizens and Government should be confident that our choices will result in a safe, clean, sustainable and harmonious state. Houses, buildings, drainage, highways, and dams must all be reimagined; public health, education, and energy harnessed in new ways; forests, hills, paddy and marshes protected.
The Global Energy Parliament is opening a ‘New Kerala Task Force’ to draft a proposal to the Government of Kerala--a specific roadmap for quick reconstruction that takes into account the delicate balance that must be struck between man and nature.
Knowledgeable and interested parties are invited to submit a proposal to become a part of this Task Force. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to take part in the Task Force.
The Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust, the organizer of the Global Energy Parliament, is also conducting charitable programs and outreach to the flood affected.
